Jones & Company were also using the name Cannon Iron Foundry for their works, to which Cannon of Bilston objected. However, Jones & Co. stated in their letter dated 4th September 1913 that their Works had been called by that name since 1800, and confusion had been caused when Cannon Hollow-ware Company changed its name to Cannon Iron Foundries in 1900. |
