DescriptionBuilt by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, for the Hamburg Amerika Line and launched in April 1913, she was the largest passenger ship at that time. Renamed USS "Leviathan", she was pressed into service as a trans-Atlantic troop transporter in 1917. The anchors were made by Hingley's.
