DSCAM/5/9/4/2: Attested copy of agreement (dated 2 June 1821) between Richard Mee of Blanquetts, parish of Claines, Worcs., gentleman, John Mee of the same, gentleman, Richard Badham of Bromyard, Herefordshire, gentleman (on behalf of Sarah the widow of Richard Mee the younger, late of Noakes, Herefordshire, deceased and for himself and his co-trustee), Benjamin Gardner of Leigh Court, Worcs., gentleman (for himself and Eliza Catherine his wife), and Edward Dixon of Ashwood House, Staffs., Esq. (on behalf of himself and Maria his wife, and on behalf of Thomas Higgins Burne of Penn, Staffs., gentleman), for the sale of the Tiled House estate and the application of the proceeds, £2000 to be invested and the income divided between Richard Mee and the persons otherwise entitled to the rents of the estate during his lifetime, the capital required to buy a £150 annuity for Richard shall be paid to the person(s) entitled to the rents, the £1500 mortgage to be paid off, one ninth of the purchase money to be paid to Benjamin Gardner and Eliza Catherine his wife, Thomas Higgins Burne and Edward Dixon and Maria his wife, balance to be paid to Sarah Mee and Samuel Stone Brisoce and Richard Badham (as trustees for sale under a deed executed by Richard Mee the younger, deceased). |

DSCAM/5/9/4/8: Copy draft pre-nuptial settlement (1837) of William Lechmere Whitmore of Bedford Row, Middlesex, gentleman and Sarah Patience Mee of Bromyard, Herefordshire, spinster (aged 17); Samuel Stone Briscoe of Fir Tree House, parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., Esq. and Richard Badham of Bromyard, gentleman [her stepfather] are trustees; as to £10000 arising from the sale of Tiled House estate and minerals, to be invested and income to be applied to such uses as Sarah Patience shall appoint during the joint lives of her and her husband, and otherwise to pay the income to her, thence to Whitmore if he survive her, thence upon trust for their children at the age of 21 etc., which failing, upon trust for Sarah Patience and her heirs, with power of appointment to Sarah Patience should she survive her husband, should she die childless in the joint lives of her mother Sarah Badham and Whitmore, thence half the trust fund to pass absolutely to each of them, and should she survive her mother but predecease her husband, all the trust fund to husband; provisions regarding the trusts for sale of Tiled House and minerals and for interest to be received on the sum of £10000 if unpaid when Sarah Patience reaches 21 (29 Mar. 1841); Whitmore not to enforce payment of the £1000 portion of Sarah Patience under deed of 3 July 1819 |

DSCAM/5/9/4/14: Agreement (1 May 1840) between Edward Dixon of Dudley, Esq. and Thomas Higgins Burne, and William Lechmere Whitmore of Priors Bank, parish of Fulham, Middlesex, Esq. for the sale of all their interest under the will of Patience Meee in the Tiled House Estate for £1000 plus the value of one ninth share in the surface of the estate, to pay £100 lent by Dixon and Burne to Mee and take over the security for same, to pay £104 to Dixon for the cost of planting the estate, to pay Dixon all monies he has paid Badham for his bill of costs, and to pay all costs of Dixon and Burn in relation to the Badham v Mee suit; Whitmore to insure his wife's life for £30000 against her dying before she reaches the age of 21, and assign the policy to Dixon and Burne for their joint benefit. |
