DSCAM/5/9/4/2: Attested copy of agreement (dated 2 June 1821) between Richard Mee of Blanquetts, parish of Claines, Worcs., gentleman, John Mee of the same, gentleman, Richard Badham of Bromyard, Herefordshire, gentleman (on behalf of Sarah the widow of Richard Mee the younger, late of Noakes, Herefordshire, deceased and for himself and his co-trustee), Benjamin Gardner of Leigh Court, Worcs., gentleman (for himself and Eliza Catherine his wife), and Edward Dixon of Ashwood House, Staffs., Esq. (on behalf of himself and Maria his wife, and on behalf of Thomas Higgins Burne of Penn, Staffs., gentleman), for the sale of the Tiled House estate and the application of the proceeds, £2000 to be invested and the income divided between Richard Mee and the persons otherwise entitled to the rents of the estate during his lifetime, the capital required to buy a £150 annuity for Richard shall be paid to the person(s) entitled to the rents, the £1500 mortgage to be paid off, one ninth of the purchase money to be paid to Benjamin Gardner and Eliza Catherine his wife, Thomas Higgins Burne and Edward Dixon and Maria his wife, balance to be paid to Sarah Mee and Samuel Stone Brisoce and Richard Badham (as trustees for sale under a deed executed by Richard Mee the younger, deceased).
DSCAM/5/9/4/3: Draft release [lease wanting] and assignment (1821) by Richard Mee and John Mee to George Hill of Worcester, gentleman and Joseph Green Bourne of Dudley, gentleman, of the estate and interest of John in the Tiled House Estate, his interest in the sum of £17000 appointed under the deed of 29 Oct. 1819, in so much of the sum of £800 bequeathed by Peter Mee as remains unappointed etc., and of the interest of Richard in an annuity of £50 under the will of Patience Mee, the one third share she was entitled to as niece and one of the next of kin of her uncle, John Keelinge, bequeathed by her to Richard, and the two fifth shares of Caroline Mee and Charles Homer in the parts of a sum of £15000 payable out of the mines of the Tiled House estate and assigned to Richard on 22 Jan. 1820, and in the £5000 Richard is entitled to receive under a deed of 15 July 1820 should the sale mentioned therein take place; to secure £500 and interest; consideration of £400 by Bourne and £100 by Hill; recites previous deeds from 1794.

DSCAM/5/9/4/7: Copy draft bargain and sale (9 Sept 1835) by John Mee of Huddington, Worcs., gentleman, with the consent of the Revd Henry Antrobus Cartwright of Dudley, Clerk and of Richard Mee of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, gentleman, to John Palmer Stocker of New Boswell Court, Middlesex, gentleman, of his interest in the Tiled House estate, to the use of John Mee to bar his estate tail in the premises; recites settlement of 1794, bankruptcy of Richard Mee, purchase of his life estate by his mother, Patience, for £440, will of Patience, death of Richard Mee (eldest son of Richard) in 1820 leaving Sarah Patience Mee his only child, doubts over whether Cartwright or Richard Mee is protector of the 1794 settlement, John is entitled to an estate in tail generalin remainder on the death of his father and of the death without issue of Sarah Patience.
DSCAM/5/9/4/8: Copy draft pre-nuptial settlement (1837) of William Lechmere Whitmore of Bedford Row, Middlesex, gentleman and Sarah Patience Mee of Bromyard, Herefordshire, spinster (aged 17); Samuel Stone Briscoe of Fir Tree House, parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., Esq. and Richard Badham of Bromyard, gentleman [her stepfather] are trustees; as to £10000 arising from the sale of Tiled House estate and minerals, to be invested and income to be applied to such uses as Sarah Patience shall appoint during the joint lives of her and her husband, and otherwise to pay the income to her, thence to Whitmore if he survive her, thence upon trust for their children at the age of 21 etc., which failing, upon trust for Sarah Patience and her heirs, with power of appointment to Sarah Patience should she survive her husband, should she die childless in the joint lives of her mother Sarah Badham and Whitmore, thence half the trust fund to pass absolutely to each of them, and should she survive her mother but predecease her husband, all the trust fund to husband; provisions regarding the trusts for sale of Tiled House and minerals and for interest to be received on the sum of £10000 if unpaid when Sarah Patience reaches 21 (29 Mar. 1841); Whitmore not to enforce payment of the £1000 portion of Sarah Patience under deed of 3 July 1819

DSCAM/5/9/4/12: Copy draft assignment (1839) by John Mee of Huddington Mills, Worcs., gentleman to Whitmore, of all rents of the Tiled House estate since the death of Patience Mee, and of all claims against the real and personal representatives of Richard Mee the younger, and indemnifying Whitmore as purchaser of Mee's interest in Tiled House from the expired security for £100 of 26 June 1824 granted to John Thomas Smith and indemnity of Mee by Whitmore in respect of Woolley's mortgage for £1500; consideration of £1000; recites previous deeds.
DSCAM/5/9/4/13: Copy draft power of attorney (1839) from John Mee to Whitmore to receive rent arrears from Tiled House and other monies and claims.
DSCAM/5/9/4/14: Agreement (1 May 1840) between Edward Dixon of Dudley, Esq. and Thomas Higgins Burne, and William Lechmere Whitmore of Priors Bank, parish of Fulham, Middlesex, Esq. for the sale of all their interest under the will of Patience Meee in the Tiled House Estate for £1000 plus the value of one ninth share in the surface of the estate, to pay £100 lent by Dixon and Burne to Mee and take over the security for same, to pay £104 to Dixon for the cost of planting the estate, to pay Dixon all monies he has paid Badham for his bill of costs, and to pay all costs of Dixon and Burn in relation to the Badham v Mee suit; Whitmore to insure his wife's life for £30000 against her dying before she reaches the age of 21, and assign the policy to Dixon and Burne for their joint benefit.
DSCAM/5/9/4/15: Unexecuted deed poll general release (1841) of Joseph Green Bourne and Henry Antrobus Cartwright by John Mee, in respect of the trust estate of Patience Mee and the rents of Tiled House; recites death of Richard Mee and Sarah Mee, his brother and sister, and of Richard Mee his father and litigation to settle doubts about his rights to the rents of Tiled House.
DSCAM/5/9/4/16: Copy draft release (30 Mar. 1841) being a deed of disposition by Whitmore of Bedford Row and Sarah Patience his wife to Benjamin Woolley of the Tiled House estate, for an estate in fee simple, subject to a term of 600 years under the settlement of 1794 and any securities prior to his mortgage of 1819, and subject to the equity of redemption of Briscoe and Badham under the deed of 15 July 1820, and assignment of the fund of £950 (consideration money from the Stourbridge Extension Canal Company).
DSCAM/5/9/4/17: Copy draft transfer of a mortgage (9 Aug. 1841) by Woolley to Whitmore of the Tiled House Estate, and assignment of his interest in the fund of £950; consideration of £2666 for £1500 principal plus interest; recites previous deeds, death of Richard Mee the elder in 1839, that Sarah Patience Whitmore, now aged 21, would have been tenant in tail of the premises had her father, Richard Mee the younger, not barred his estate tail in remainder in 1819 or had it not been defeated by one of the appointments made by Richard Mee the elder in that year, mortgage by Mee the younger to Woolley in 1819 and desire effected by deed of 30 Mar. 1841 to enlarge the possible base fee in the premises into a fee simple, confirming thereby the title of Woolley as mortgagee etc.
