DescriptionDSCAM/5/8/7/52: Copy of will (dated 1 Jan. 1848) of Sarah Malonek of Leamington, Warwickshire, now residing in Boulogne, widow; all property in Dudley, Leamington and Boulogne to daughter, Mary, who is sole executrix, she paying £100 within 4 years to John Malonek, testatrix's son. Codicil (1 Jan. 1848) revoking £100 legacy if John takes any interest in her mother's property under her brother's will. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, 7 June 1850. [Mary Malonek married A.M. Cockrane of Floor Lodge, Weedon, Northants.]
DSCAM/5/8/7/53: Deed poll appointment (14 Dec. 1855) by Abiathar Hawkes of Doughty Street, Mecklenburg Square, Middlesex, a Major in HM Army and Mary Ann his wife (nee Borradaile), in exercise of powers contained in their marriage settlement [#19 above] of £544 8s 2d 3% Consols, immediately after their decease, to Alfred Borradaile Hawkes (son).
DSCAM/5/8/7/54-57: Assignment (2 June 1856) by Alfred Borradaile Hawkes of Doughty Street, Mecklenburg Square, Middlesex, gentleman, to Joseph Green Bourne of Dudley, Worcs., Esq., of his reversionary interest in the above 3% Consols, by way of mortgage, to secure £150 and interest. Bond of same date from same to same to secure £150. Copy notice of the assignment, sent by Bourne to Borradaile the surviving trustee of the 1809 marriage settlement, 7 July 1857. And copy of statutory declaration by Bourne, 7 Feb. 1857.
DSCAM/5/8/7/58-131: Correspondence between A. Hawkes, 21 Doughty Street, J.G. Bourne, Dudley, A.B. Hawkes, Secretary's Department, General Post Office, H. Lewellin, 22 Chancery Lane, J.W. Borradaile, 2 Elliot Place, Blackheath, and others; trust affairs, explanation that the Consols represent the net proceeds of an insurance policy for £4000 which Thomas Hawkes should have maintained, but whose premiums were largely paid by the marriage settlement trustees; borrowing, security, family deaths and illnesses; 6 Mar. 1856-8 July 1857 and 22-24 May 1859.

DSCAM/5/8/7/133: Further charge of £60 (2 Feb. 1861) by A.B. Hawkes, now of 17 Upper Baker Street, Regents Park, Middlesex, gentleman, to Bourne on the same secuirty.
