DescriptionDSCAM/5/7/2/1: Copy of the will (dated 17 Dec. 1850) of John Marsh of Dudley, Worcs., plumber and glazier; executors and trsutees, Henry Marsh (brother) and Thomas Griffiths of Dudley, gentleman; executrix and guardian, Mary Marsh (wife), during her widowhood; household effects to wife during widowhood, thence to daughter, Sarah Ann; income and rents to wife during widowhood and until daughter is 21 or married, thence to pay daughter an annuity of £100, with balance to wife, but if wife remarries she is to receive an annuity of £100 and the balance to daughter; after death of wife, all to daughter, with power of appointment; if daughter dies before wife and leaves no issue, all income and rents to wife for life, thence 6 messuages at the Dock in Dudley and a half of personal estate, to the uses of his wife's will, and otherwise to the use of his wife and her heirs etc., and residue of real estate to brothers and sisters etc. - messuage occupied by testator, to his brother, Henry Marsh; 3 messuages at Kates Hill, Dudley, to sister, Mary Ann Cash, with power of appointment; 8 messuages at the Old Windmill, parish of Dudley [See DSCAM/2/1/6/22?], to sister, Elizabeth Bailey, with power of appointment; 2 messuages at Wall Heath, parish of Kingswinford, and moiety of property at Dibdale, to brother, Isaac Marsh; messuage at Dibdale occupied by Mr Gibbons, to sister, Esther Manesll, with power of appointment; 2 messuages at Ruiton, parish of Sedgley, to sister, Phoebe Gill, with power of appointment - and remaining moiety of personal estate to 6 brothers and sisters in equal shares.
DSCAM/5/7/2/2: Copy appointment (21 Sept. 1869) by Henry Marsh of Hagley, Worcs., shopkeeper (retiring trustee), and by Mary Marsh of Hagley, widow and Sarah Ann Brooks, wife of Thomas Brooks of Laurel House, Angmering, Sussex, draper, of Thomas Brooks and Thomas Brettell of Dudley, Worcs., surveyor as new trustees under the will of John Marsh.
DSCAM/5/7/2/3: Copy appointment (22 Mar. 1877) by Mary Marsh, now of Leamington, Warwickshire and Sarah Ann Brooks, wife of Thomas Brooks, now of Leamington, gentleman, and the said Thomas Brooks and Thomas Brettell, of John Green Wright of Dudley, auctioneer as a trustee in the place of Brettell.
