Description | DSCAM/5/7/11/1: Draft appointment (14 Aug. 1848) by Phoebe, wife of Eli Gill of Brierley Hill, parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., currier, of 4 messuages etc. at Dibdale and 1a. 1r. 9p. of land adjoining, called the Batch, adjoining Bagleys Lane (abuttals given), as to one moiety to the use of John Marsh of Dudley, Worcs., painter, with power of appointment, as specified, and as to the other moiety to the like use of William Coldicot of Dudle, gentleman, with Coldicott and Marsh acting as trustees to uses for each other; declarations barring dower; consideration of £8 by Marsh to Phoebe, and £592 due to Marsh (£500 principal plus interest on a mortgage of 1844), of which £292 makes up the balance of his purchase money for a moiety of the premsies and £300 paid to him by Coldicott; and surrender by Marsh to Coldicott of his interest in a term of 1000 years in a moiety of the premises to merge in the freehold; recites will of John Marsh the elder etc. and previous deeds [see DSCAM/5/7/1/10]. |
