Release (1 June 1854) from James Birkett (as executor of Margaret Green) to Joseph Green Bourne (as sole executor of his father, James Bourne, who was surviving trustee of Margaret Green's marriage settlement); recites that Mrs Green did not prove her husband's will, which was proved by Bourne in Sept. 1853, that there were considerable arrears of interest on the mortgage, losses sustained by the Bournes, but {nominal} excess of their receipts over payments; acceptance of £1200 by Birkett in settlement. |
