Description | DSCAM/5/3/1/1: Copy lease (24 June 1834) by the trustees (named) of Hopkins's Charity Lands to James Stevenson of Moxley, parish of Darlaston, Staffs., mine agent, of Hoo Marsh and Cranberrey or Cranborrow Hills, Darlaston (13 acres), and all coals thereunder (reserving pillar of coal under 31p. of land to support a house as specified), for a term of 10 years from 24 June 1833; recites will of Joseph Hopkins of Birmingham, ironmonger etc., previous lease to Stevenson under which surface damage occurred. disputes and the execution of this lease as a compromise. |
