Description | DSCAM/5/2/9/1: Copy pre-nuptial settlement (dated 7 Feb. 1795) of John Fereday of Over Gornall, parish of Sedgley, Staffs., stone mason and Elizabeth Raybould, daughter of James Raybould of Dudley, Worcs., draper; trustees are James Bourne of Dudley, gentleman and William Turton of Over Gornall, gentleman; Fereday within 18 months of marriage to settle estates of the clear annual value of £22 to the use of himself for life, thence to Elizabeth for life, thence to the use of their children as tenants in common etc., with ultimate remainder to the settlor and his heirs and assigns; £200 to Elizabeth's personal representative after her death and that of John if the marriage be childless; James Raybould to pay Turton £100 as specified, in addition to the consideration of £100 on executing this deed. |

DSCAM/5/2/9/3-4: Deed of partition (27 Oct. 1810) between Samuel Fereday of Tipton, Staffs., farmer and Thomas Fereday of the same, yeoman (grandsons and devisees of Thomas Fereday) by means of a release [lease wanting] to Joseph Motram of Tipton, yeoman of two messuages etc. fronting Puppy Green Lane in Tipton, to the use of Samuel as to one, and to the use of Thomas as to the other; consideration of £7 to equalise the division by Thomas to Samuel. Mortgage (30 Oct. 1810) by demise of 1000 years Samuel Fereday to Thomas Fereday of a cottage in Tipton, to secure £75 and interest. |
