DSCAM/5/12/4/2: Draft settlement (1 Oct. 1912) by Charles Blaquhan Whitefoord upon Caleb Alan Bryce Whitefoord, Archibald Slater and Gilbert Slater of Dudley, Worcestershire, solicitor, of all his vested and contingent interests under the will of Samuel Mills, his grandfather and under the Mary Whitefoord Settlement of 1898 - contingent interest in the Whitton Court estate after the death, childless, of Martha Mills, should she survive Mary Whitefoord [her sister; his mother] etc.; in the reversion of the Martha Mills legacy; in monies paid in to court as a result of the sale of the Darlaston and Wednesbury freeholds; in the residuary real and personal estate of Samuel Mills (subject to life interest of Mary Whitefoord); and in the trust and policy funds of the 1898 settlement, subject to the life interests of Mary Whitefoord and Samuel Charles Whitefoord - upon trust to pay the income to the settlor for life, thence to his wife for life etc. as he shall appoint, and after the death of the survivor of them, in trust for their issue etc.; trustees may raise £600 at his own request for the settlor; in default of issue, after the death of the settlor and wife, upon trust to pay up to £1000 in such manner as the settlor shall appoint, and otherwise upon trust for his brothers and sisters and their issue as tenants in common, taking equal shares per stirpes. |
