DescriptionDSCAM/5/12/3/1: Copy will (3 Oct. 1914) of Mary Whitefoord of Whitton Paddocks near Ludlow, wife of Samuel Charles Whitefoord; executors and trustees are nephews, Samuel Mills Slater and Archibald Slater, and son, Caleb Alan Bryce Whitefoord; exercises power of appointment under the will of Samuel Mills late of Darlaston of £100 p.a. of her trust income to her husband, Samuel Charles Whitefoord, and of one seventh of the proceeds of her father's residuary real and personal estate etc. (as recited) in trust for her children and their issue (per stirpes) as tenants in common, with proviso that Caleb Whitefoord must bring into hotchpot the one sixcth share appointed in his favour by deed of 23 Apr. 1913; all other estate to her [six] children as tenants in common etc.
DSCAM/5/12/3/2-4: Draft authority and indemnity to the trustees by Mrs Mary Whitefoord's children to give effect to the unexecuted codicil to the will; attached codicil give £100 to brother-in-law Philip Whitefoord, £10 to nephew Philip Geoffrey Whitefoord, £20 to niece Ina Williams, daughter of Arthur Bolyn Williams, £50 to Mrs Ruth Mariner, £50 to Mrs Catherine Commin, £50 to nephew Arthur Wood, annuities of 5/- a week to Miss Ryeman of Rosary Road, Erdington, 10/- a week to parlour maid Agatha Alice Caswell, 10/- a week to old servant Ellen Foster, £1 a week to coachman Henry Brown until he receives a state pension and then £13 p.a. to him and his wife.
