DSCAM/5/11/10/12: Copy of the will (dated 9 Sept. 1848) of Sarah Packwood of Dudley, widow, reciting the powers given her in the will of her late husband, Samuel Packwood; all household effects to her youngest son, Edward Packwood; £200 to eldest son, John Packwood; £600 to Edward; £100 to Elizabeth, wife of Robert Ayres (daughter); all other personal estate to her children (John, Edward, Elizabeth and Mary Jane, wife of George Henry Wilkinson) in equal shares; 5 messuages in George Street, Dudley, to John, charged with £150 of the £600 mortgage on her real estate; 5 messuages in George Street and Church Street, to Edward, similarly charged with £150; 5 messuages in Oakey Well Street, Dudley, to Mary Ann, similalrly charged with £150; 6 messuages near Oakey Well Street, to Elizabeth, charged with a further £150, plus £25 to John, £62 to Edward and £28 to Mary Jane; all tenants given; sons are executors.
DSCAM/5/11/10/13: Copy reconveyance (dated 3 June 1878) by the trustees and executors of John William Jesson, deceased (William Willetts of 209 Heneage Street, Ashted, Birmingham, Warwickshire, bone turner and Elijah Willetts of Dudley, school master), to William Whitmore of Hall Street, Dudley, fruiterer, to the use of the devisees of John Packwood, deceased (Samuel Packwood, John Packwood, Edward Packwood, Sarah Packwood, spinster, George Packwood and William Packwood, all of Dudley), in equal shares as tenants in coomon, of 5 messuages (Nos. 13-17) in George Street, Dudley, the mortgage having long been repaid; covenant for the production of title deeds by Elizabeth Ayres of Princes End, parish of Tipton, Staffs., widow; recites previous deeds. Deed not fully executed until 1887.
