And bond of same date from Whitehouse to Read to perform covenants.

DSCAM/5/1/2/3: Mortgage (18 Dec. 1728) by demise of 1000 years by John Smith of Scarborough, Yorkshire, scrivener and Mary his wife (one of the daughters of Daniel Shaw of Dudley), to John Worseley of Westbromwich, Staffs., baker, of a messuage and appurtenances, two closes of land and a meadow (7 acres overall), near Bloomsmithyes in the parish of Tipton alias Tibbington, Staffs., to secure £100 and interest.
DSCAM/5/1/2/4-5: Lease and release (31 Dec. 1731-1 Jan. 1731/2) by Daniel Shaw the younger of Dudley, Worcs., mercer, to John Worseley, of the equity of redemption in the premises; consideration of £108 15/- owing on the mortgage and £41 5/- ; recites will of Adam Read of Dudley, grandfather to Daniel, the mortgage #1, and other deeds, whereby the fee simple in the mortgaged premises is now vested in Daniel. And bond from Shaw to Worseley for the performance of covenants.
DSCAM/5/1/2/6: Assignment (1 Oct. 1747) by William Cleiveland of the City of Worcester, Clerk (executor of John Cleiveland late of Dudley, Clerk) to Thomas Jesson of Westbromwich, ironmonger, of a mortgage by demise of 1000 years in the foregoing premises, and of a bond [wanting] executed by Worseley as collateral security; consideration of £100; recites mortgage of 1734 by Worseley to Cleiveland.
DSCAM/5/1/2/7: Lease and release (6-7 Mar. 1760) by John Wilcox of Knowl, Warwickshire, yeoman and Loetitia his wife (only daughter, heir and devisee of John Worsley, late of West Bromwich, butcher), to John Taylor of Walsall, Staffs., tanner; consideration of £230, of which £120 is to be paid to Wilcox and wife, and £110 to redeem the mortgage [cf #5]; covenant to levy a Fine to Taylor.
DSCAM/5/1/2/8: Assignment (11 Mar. 1760) of the mortgage term of 1000 years created in 1734, by Thomas Jesson of West Bromwich, Staffs., ironmonger, at the direction of John Wilcox and Loetitia his wife, to John Holmes of Walsall, schoolmaster, in trust for John Taylor, and to such uses as he shall appoint, and otherwise upon trust to attend the freehold; consideration of £109 12/-; recites previous deeds

DSCAM/5/1/2/10: Extract from the will of John Taylor of Great Barr, Staffs., gentleman, devising property in Tipton to Edward Taylor, fourth son of John Taylor of Edmonton and the heirs male of his body, with remainders over; proved 2 May 1787.
DSCAM/5/1/2/11: Lease and release (15-16 Nov. 1803) by Edward Taylor, now or late of the City of London, tea dealer (4th son of John Taylor, deceased and devisee of John Taylor of Great Barr), to Benjamin Price of Highgate, Middlesex, gentleman and John Williams of Lincoln's Inn, London, gentleman, being a deed to make Price a Tenant to the Praecipe of the Tipton premises (meadow now described as divided by the Birmingham Canal) for the purposes of suffering a Common Recovery of them, in which Williams shall be Demandant, to the use of Taylor, freed from the limitations imposed by #10 above.
DSCAM/5/1/2/12-14: Mortgage (23 Jan. 1805) by demise of 1000 years by Taylor to Joseph Stubbs of Walsall, gentleman, to secure £300 and interest; property now includes a sixth-share of Phillips Orchard and adjoining lands specified (20 acres), near to Bloomsmithies, Tipton. Further charge for £200 (17 June 1805). Further charge for £200 (29 Mar. 1806).
DSCAM/5/1/2/15: Assignment (20 Jan. 1807) of the mortgage by demise [in respect of the main property], by Stubbs, at the direction of Taylor, wine merchant, to Isaac Aston the younger of Tipton, maltster, in trust for Isaac Aston of Tipton, maltster, and to such uses as he shall appoint, and otherwise to attend the freehold; consideration of £700; recites previous deeds.
DSCAM/5/1/2/16: Lease and release (19-20 Jan. 1807) by Taylor to Isaac Aston [senior] and James Aston of Tipton, brickmaker (his trustee to uses), of the messuage, crofts and meadow (6a. 3r. in total) near Bloom Smithies, to the use of Isaac, with power of appointment, as specified; consideration of £1400, of which £700 is paid to Taylor and the balance is paid in #15 to redeem the mortgages #12-14.
DSCAM/5/1/2/17-18: Mortgage by appointment and demise of 1000 years (28 Jan. 1807) by Aston the elder to John Jesson of Dudley, cordwainer, to secure £1000 and interest. And bond of even date as collateral security.
DSCAM/5/1/2/19: Assignment (29 Aug. 1816) of the mortgage by demise, by Jesson to John Bailey of Dudley, draper, to secure £360 and interest; reciting the payment by the representatives of the recently deceased Isaac Aston of £640
DSCAM/5/1/2/20: Assignment (28 Feb. 1830) of the mortgage by John Bailey, now of Worley Wigorn, Staffs., gentleman, to Edward Aston of Tipton, maltster; consideration of £360.
