#224-228 are the interim and final report of B.C. English on reorganisation to achiev improved results, and notes on and responses to the reports from other directors (Dec. 1937-Jan. 1938).
#252-253 is a report and appendix by B.C. English surveying poor trading during 1938 and making recommendations for a fundamental rearrangement, curtailment of depots, expansion of clothing interests.
#255 comprises schedules of capital invested in various sections of Grainger and Smith's business and properties, and the income thereon, as at 31 Dec. 1938.
#304-308 are undated and include some bare financial figures for 1927-32, details of the shareholdings of the Grainger family (Grainger, Garratt, Cartwright etc. - 66990 preference and 25225 ordinary), and other notes.
