DSCAM/4/5/7/3-4: Copy of the will (dated 25 Apr. 1855) of Richard Haines of Tipton, Staffs., coal master; executors and trustees are sons, Job Haines and Henry Haines; household effects to daughters, Ann Haines and Elizabeth Haines; £3500 to Job and to Henry; £2000 to Ann and to Elizabeth; £2000 upon trust for daughter, Mary, wife of Richard Doodney Fretwell for life, thence to her issue; £250 to grand-daughter, Ann Haines Fretwell; 4 dwellinghouses in Church Lane, Tipton to son, John, thence to his grandchildren (children of John), Elizabeth Haines, Henry Haines, Thomas Haines and Richard Haines at age 21 as tenants in common; 6 dwellinghouses in Sheepwash Lane, Tipton to his grandchildren (children of Job), Richard Haines, Mary Haines, Sarah Haines and Elizabeth Haines; colliery at Newbury Lane to sons Richard and John; collieries at Ocker Hill and Crown Meadow to sons Job and Henry; all other estate upon trust for sale, proceeds to be divided into 8, and one share each paid to children Job, Henry, Ann and Elizabeth; one share to Thomas and Srah Haines, children of his deceased son Joseph, subject to the income from £500 being paid to their mother, Mary Haines, during her widowhood; one share in trust to pay income to son, Richard Haines, for life, thence for division amongst Richard's issue, with remainder in default of issue to the testator's other children; one share in trust to pay income to son, John Haines, for life, thence for division amongst his issue, with remainder to testator's other children; final share in trust for Mary Fretwell for life, thence to her issue. And extract from the Principal Probate Registry. Effects under £35000 inc. leaseholds.
DSCAM/4/5/7/5: Draft acknowledgment by Ernest Alfred Haines, Ceceil Evered Haines and Gerald Crowfoot Fitzgerald (surviving executors of Mrs Eleanor Haines, widow and executrix of Richard Haines) of £95 12s 2d (for final dividend, interest since 1875, less costs), received from Henry Starkey Coldicott, executor of Henry Coldicott (Clerk to the Sedgley turnpike trust), in respect of a mortgage for £200 of 3 Dec. 1850; 30 Dec. 1913.
