DescriptionBetween Richard Bradley of Tipton, Staffs., ironmaster, William Barrows the younger of the parish of Sedgley, Staffs., ironmaster and Joseph Hall the younger of Tipton, ironmaster, dissolving their partnership of 31 May 1841 under the style of Richard Bradley Junior and Co., the Cleveland Colliery following the agreement with the Duke of Cleveland to abandon their lease of the colliery, which could not be worked at a profit; mutual releases etc. subject to the payment of the attached account (mainly money due from Barrows and Hall and to Bradley); any deficiency to be borne by all parties equally and any surplus divided between them equally.
