DSCAM/3/84/2: Pre-nuptial settlement (14 June 1880) of Hannah Colbourn of Woodsetton, parish of Sedgley, spinster and Henry Jeavons of Church Street, Coseley, same parish, ironfounder, assigning to her brother, David Colbourn of Woodsetton, surveyor, her one fourth share under the will of her father, David Colbourn, viz. in £2817 on mortgage [which cannot be called in because of the depressed state of the market] and monies with bankers, upon trust to pay the income to her, reserving a power of appointment to her, thence to pay the capital to her children at the age of 21 in equal shares, but in default of issue to pay half the capital to Jeavons if living, and subject thereto divide it between Hannah's sister and two brothers and their representatives.
