DescriptionDSCAM/3/465/1: Probate (15 Aug. 1862) of the will (dated 6 May 1854) of Mary Whitehouse of Cakemore, parish of Halesowen, Worcs., spinster; £40 to Mary Ann, 3rd daughter of William Harris of Cakemore, farmer and Hannah his wife, payable after Hannah's death; £10 to John Whitehouse, now residing with her, farming labourer (son of late brother Samuel); £10 to Elisha Whitehouse of Blackheath, parish of Rowley Regis, Staffs., labourer (another son of Samuel); £10 to Joseph Whitehouse of Cakemore, labourer (another son of Samuel); £10 to William Whitehouse of Langley Green, parish of Halesowen, labourer (son of late brother Elijah); £5 to John Williams, son of Aaron and Mary Williams of Roundhill, parish of Halesowen, labourer; to Elijah Whitehouse aged 19, now living with her, natural son of Mary Williams, a messuage at Oakham; messuage and nailshop in Rowley Regis, a messuage and brewhouse at Oakham, a messuage and nailshop at Waddams Pool, Dudley, a messuage at Oakham and a Messuage and nailshop at Cakemore (tenanst named), to Hannah, wife of William Harris, for life; thence Oakham and Rowley Regis property to Sarah, eldest surviving daughter of William and Hannah, Waddams Pool and Oakham property to Sophia, 2nd surviving daughter, and Cakemore property to Mary Ann, 3rd surviving daughter; residue of estate to Hannah Harris; executor, William Harris.

Codicil (13 June 1861); revokes legacies to Mary Ann Harris, to John Williams and to Joseph Whitehouse (nephew, now dead); and devise to Elijah Whitehouse; bequeaths £10 to Elijah Whitehouse; appoints Hannah Harris and James Samuel Bourne of Dudley, Worcs., gentleman as executors in the palce of William Harris, deceased. And affidavit by James Samuel Bourne of Dudley as to the due execution of the codicil, 18 July 1862.
