Description | DSCAM/3/454/1: Attested copy of the will (dated 30 Oct. 1824) of William Webb, late coachman to the late Viscount Dudley and Ward, of the parish of Himley, Staffs.; all, including what he may receive under his father (Thomas Webb)'s will, to wife Hannah, for life, then to children in equal shares; executors, John Bennit of Himley and Hannah Webb (wife). Copy affidavit by Benjamin Robinson of 9 Park Lane, Middlesex, coachman to Lord Dudley and Ward, of the due execution of the will, 27 Nov. 1824. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, 2 Dec. 1824. Examined, 3 Apr. 1832. |

DSCAM/3/454/20: Assignment (19 Mar. 1835) by John Bennet of Himley, gentleman and Hannah Webb of Himley, widow, to William Spurrier of Birmingham, Warwickshire, gentleman and Joseph Green Bourne of Dudley, Worcs., gentleman, of their interests in a £100 annuity, upon trust to pay the same to Bennet and Webb in moieties; recites grant in 1811 of an annuity of £1122 by the 5th Duke of Marlborough, then Marquess of Blandford, payable from his succession [1817] for the remainder of his own life, for a consideration of £8415, and the insurance policies executed with the Atlas Fire and Life Assurance Company, the Norwich Union Life Insurance Office and the Pelican Life Insurance Company, purchase of £100-worth of the annuity by William Webb, for himself and John Bennet, for £750, half provided by Bennet, death and affairs of Webb and the grant of probate to Bennet in 1824 and Hannah Webb in 1834. |
