Description | DSCAM/3/439/1: Probate (18 Apr. 1838) of the will (dated 10 May 1837) of Hannah Trowmans of Rowley Regis, Staffs., widow; copyhold at Newtown, upon trust for daughter Mary, wife of William Woodall of the parish of Rowley Regis, tracemaker, for life, then to grandson (Mary's eldest son) William, for life, thence to his issue in equal shares, unless he exercise a power of appointment to differentiate between them, and in default of issue to follow her residuary estate; all other estate upon general trust for sale, with income to daughter and capital to be divided between daughter's issue except William, equally at the age of 21, remoter issue taking per stirpes, with remainder for want of issue etc. to William, then in ultimate remainder to testatrix's next of kin then living; executors, Thomas Trowmans of Old Hill, parish of Rowley Regis, gun barrel welder and Joseph Priest of Corngreaves, same parish, farmer. |
