DSCAM/3/321/1/4: Counterpart pre-nuptial settlement (30 Oct. 1742) of Benjamin Pickrell of Dudley, Worcs., currier and Mary Dovey of Dudley; made between Richard Pickerell of Dudley, ironmonger and Benjamin his son, Aaron Dovey of Dudley, currier and Mary his daughter, and William Dovey of Himley, Staffs., farmer and Thomas Hodgetts of Dudley, cordwainer (trustees); release [lease wanting] of a messuage and lands in the parish of Westbromwich purchased from John Hancox (tenant given), a messuage and premises in Hall Lane, Dudley, a messuage and premises in Dudley devised by William Pickrell to Benjamin, and an adjacent messuage and premises devised by Edward Pickrell to William; West Bromwich property to the use of Richard for life, then to Benjamin for life, thence to Mary for life, then to their issue in such manner as they shall jointly appoint, or the survivor shall of appoint etc., with remainder, for want of issue, to the right heirs of Benjamin; and Dudley property to the use of Benjamin for life, then as above; marriage portion of £500.
DSCAM/3/321/1/5: Release and quit claim (20 July 1748) by Thomas Baldwin of Worcester, clothier (executor of Thomas Baldwin of the same, clothier, his late father), to Benjamin Pickrell of Dudley, currier, upon payment of £80, the balance of a mortgage for £220 secured on premises at West Bromwich and contracted by John Hancox in 1720/1 as recited.

DSCAM/3/321/1/8: Counterpart release [lease wanting] (31 Jan. 1760) by Benjamin Pickrill of Dudley, currier, to William Green of the parish of Westbromwich, Staffs., nailer and Mary his wife and Joseph Pemberton of Dudley, butcher (son of Mary by her previous husband), of a close of land called Minney Farm, reserving minerals, to the use of Green for life, then of Mary Green for life, thence to Pemberton; consideration of £77.
DSCAM/3/321/1/9-10: Lease and release (4-5 May 1764) by Benjamin Bate of Wolverhampton, Staffs., malt mill maker (son and heir of Samuel Bate of Dudley, deceased by Hannah, nee Pickrell), to Benjamin Pickrell of Dudley, currier, of a messuage, the White Hourse, in Hall Lane, Dudley (6 lower and 5 upper rooms), and 2 other adjacent messuages, and a messuage and shop (3 lower and 4 upper rooms) in Queen Street, Dudley (all tenants given); covenant to levy a Fine; considerationof £80. Final Concord ([Hilary Term] 4 George III) between Pickrell (Plaintiff) and Bate (Deforciant).

DSCAM/3/321/1/13: Draft release (7 June 1791) by Joseph Pickrell of Horsley Heath, parish of Tipton, Staffs., wood screw filer (nephew and heir-at-law of Benjamin) and Mary his wife, to Edward Davies of Dudley, Worcs., ironmonger, of a life estate in premises in Hall Street, Dudley (part in the occupancy of Joseph Bourne), his share in the money arising from the sale of premises in West Bromwich, and release of the reversion in fee (as heir-at-law) of a house near Great Bridge, subject to the life estate of Mrs Mary Tilt; consideration £20, and 14/- a week to Joseph and Mary for life; recites will #11.
DSCAM/3/321/1/14: Agreement (1 July 1807) between Richard Langford of Dudley, carpenter and Mary his wife, and James Bourne of Dudley, gentleman, for the assignment of a third of Mrs Langford's share in money under Pickrell's will, for a consideration of £60 on the execution of the deed, and the securing of further sums of £15 and £125 on the terms stated; attached receipt for £20; a promissory note for £15 at 12 months of Bourne (1 Aug. 1807) to Richard Langford, void if Mary Langford dies before the note is due; a promissory note for £125 at 3 months of Bourne to Langford, void if Mary dies before Mary Tilt of Stourbridge, widow.
DSCAM/3/321/1/15: Assignment (1 Aug. 1807) by Langford and wife to Bourne pursuant to the agreement #14.
DSCAM/3/321/1/16: Declaration of trust (27 Dec. 1808) by James Bourne to Benjamin Stokes of Dudley, baker, Benjamin Stokes of the parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., lock keeper and Ann his wife, Richard Langford of Dudley and Mary his wife, and John Davies, Edward Davies and Thomas Davies of Dudley, nail ironmongers, James Male of Birmingham, Warwickshire, gentleman and Elizabeth his wife (nee Davies), and Sarah Davies and Jane Davies of Dudley, spinsters, as to monies he receives from the Birmingham Coal Company for the purchase of the Brick House estate at Great Bridge; recites the will # 11, fate of beneficiaries, deed #13 etc., sale to Benjamin Ager Day [see DSCAM/3/321/2/4 below], acting on behalf of the Committee of the Birmingham Coal Company, and the vesting of the property in Bourne to secure the payment of the purchase money instalments by deed of even date etc.
DSCAM/3/321/1/17: Release (5 Sept. 1817) of James Bourne by Benjamin Stokes of Kingswinford and Ann his wife, Richard Langford, John Davies, Edward Davies and Thomas Davies, James Male and Elizabeth his wife, and Sarah Davies and Jane Davies, under the trust deed; recites #16 and various other deeds of Dec. 1808, and the payment by the Birmingham Coal Company by instalments (now complete) of £18402 16/-.
