DescriptionDSCAM/3/309/1: Administration (3 Mar. 1808) of the annexed will of Elizabeth Payton of Sedgley, Staffs., granted to the Revd Proctor Robinson, husband and administrator of Ann Robinson, formerly Fereday, deceased, the sole executrix and residuary legatee; £10 each to her 6 first cousins, Peter, Thomas, Joseph and Whitmore York, Esther Bridgwater and Hannah York, children of Mrs Ann York of Lower Penn, and £5 each to the children of Benjamin Wale by his late wife Sarah, all payable at the age of 15; £200 to the Revd Howel Davis of Kinver, Staffs.; £10 to cousin, Thomas Noake of Wolverhampton; 5 guineas [£5 5/-] to Mrs Samuel Fereday, her daughters Elizabeth and Sarah and to Mrs Thomas Wainwright for rings; residue to Ann, daughter of Samuel Fereday of Ettingshall Park, who is sole executrix.
Affidavit by Thomas Wainwright of Dudley, Worcs., surgeon of the discovery of the will, unsigned, and that no other exists except a paper of 1778 also unsigned; and by Wainwright and Phoebe Ensell of Wordsley, Staffs., spinster attesting the will to be genuine; 5 Dec. 1807.
