Description | DSCAM/3/257/1: Probate (31 May 1830) of the will (dated 29 Mar. 1820) of Richard Langford of Dudley, Worcs., yeoman; household effects to niece, Eleanor, wife of Andrew Hosack, and great niece, Georgiana Brown, who resides with him, and the clothes of his late wife, Mary Langford, division to be made by Frances Stokes, daughter of Benjamin Stokes, of Dudley, yeoman; all other estate upon trust for sale; £5 to Elizabeth, wife of Solomon Haden of Dudley, glass maker, £10 to John Marsh of Walsall, Staffs., nail weigher, £10 to William Baker of Birmingham, and 2 guineas to Frances Stokes; from income, 4/- a week to sister, Frances Richards, half the balance to Eleanor Hosack, with power of appointment, and otherwise to her personal representatives, and other half to Georgiana Brown on similar terms, with remainder to his own personal representatives should she die a minor without issue; executors, James Bourne the younger and Andrew Hosack. |
