Description | DSCAM/3/234/1: Probate (12 July 1864) of the will (dated 22 Mar. 1860) of Moses Hughes of Eve Hill, Dudley, Worcs., victualler and brickmaker; household stores to wife, Mary; household goods etc. to wife for life, with power to continue business of victualler, thence to daugter, Esther Moore, at valuation; rents of 5 dwellinghouses at Eve Hill and of a dwellinghouse etc. at Lower Gornal, to wife for life; rents of 2 dwellinghouses in Wolverhampton Street, Dudley to be invested during minority of youngest son, Henry, thence upon trust for sale, with the proceeds and the accumulated rents and investments to be divided equally between his 10 children - William, Isaac, John, Edward, Sarah, wife of John Pritchard, Honor, wife of John Cartwright, Esther Moore, Elizabeth, wife of Joseph Bird, Caroline Hughes and Henry Hughes; son Isaac to bring into hotchpot the £50 advanced him by testator; executors, William Hughes (brother) and William Hughes (son). |
