Household effects and income from all estate to wife, Sarah Hughes, for life; thence tenant right of cottage etc. in his own possession as tenant of the Earl of Dudley, to son Daniel Hughes; copyhold messuage at Gornall Wood to son, James Hughes, plus legacy of £20; another copyhold messuage there to son, Aaron Hughes; a further copyhold messuage there to son, William Hughes; yet another to son, Isaac Hughes; and one more to son, Moses Hughes; £100 to daughter, Maria, wife of Joseph Horton; legacies to be vested interests, transmissable; tools at brickyard at Kingswinford (operated in partnership with his friend, William Hughes) to sons Aaron and William; residue to children in equal shares.
