DescriptionDSCAM/3/223/1: Conveyance (17 June 1856) by Charles Kemp Homer of Sedgley, Staffs., gentleman and Ann Mary his wife, to James Samuel Bourne of Dudley, Worcs., gentleman and James William Weaver of Oaken House, parish of Codsall, Staffs., gentleman, of a life interest (under the will of Richard Homer of Pedmore Hall) in the manor of Dornstone, Worcs. and Quarry Pit Farm there, and in messuage and farms called Chidleys and High Barnes in the parishes of Enville and Alveley, and in a messuage and lands in the parish of Kings Norton, Bromley Hall and property 'late Pevhalls' in the parish of Kingswinford, and covenant to surrender life interest in copyholds of the Manor of Sedgley, upon trust to pay rents from the Dornstone property as specified to Mrs Homer during the joint lives of herself and her husband, provided they maintain a domestic establishment together etc., and then to Homer, copyhold rents to Homer, other rents to liquidate Homer's debts to Bourne and Caroline Brisoce, etc.
DSCAM/3/223/2: Bond (21 Oct. 1854) from Homer to Caroline Briscoe of Summerhill, parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., spinster, to secure £100 and interest.
DSCAM/3/223/3: Receipt for principal and interest on bond, 30 Nov. 1857.
