DSCAM/3/217/2: Settlement and declaration of trust (6 Apr. 1875) by Josiah Guest of West Bromwich, iron founder and William Godwin Nichollas of Dudley, ironmasters clerk, regarding £250 received from Betsy, wife of Thomas Pugh Allen, Eleanor the wife of Josiah Guest and Thomas Edward Holden (sisters and brothers of John Holden), to pay the income to Emma Holden during the minorities of her daughters and thence in trust for Ann Mary Holden and Frances Louise Holden or the survivor at the age of 21 etc.; with attached receipt, 28 Sept. 1875.

DSCAM/3/217/6: Agreement (29 June 1881) regarding mortgages on the Excelsior Works given by the late Thomas Pugh Allen to Josiah Guest and Godwin Nicholls (£3200) and Jeremiah Bagnall (£800) to be transferred, £3000 to Ann Mary Holden and £1000 to Guest and Nicholls, and the payment to the executors of Allen of the amount received on an insurance policy formerly forming a collateral security for the mortgages in exchange for an agreement to charge adjacent lands as specified with the mortgage debt as a substitute security.
