Messuage in Canal Street, Oldbury, to wife for life, thence to brother, Thomas Hadley for life and the latter's wife, Ann, for life, thence to Thomas Hadley, son of Thomas; rest of estate to wife for life, with power to use capital if she is unmarried; otherwise, then £100 to nephew, Nathaniel Hadley of Smethwick, farmer; £50 to Samuel Hadley (brother) or to Martha his wife, £40 each to sisters, Phoebe, Mary, Hannah and Sarah, all if living at wife's death, otherwise to nephews, Nathaniel and Thomas; £100 etc. to children of wife's brothers George, Benjamin and James Hill in manner specified; household effects to be sold after death of wife, with £10 to the Sunday Schools belonging to Mr Hudson's Independent Meeting at West Bromwich, £5 to the Methodist Sunday Schools at Oldbury and £5 to that of the Church of England at Rowley Regis; balance to children of wife's 3 brothers.
Executors: Thomas Siviter of Rowley Regis, maltster, and Jane Hadley.
Codicil (dated 20 June 1816); sum of £100 in hands of John McMillan of Rowley, Staffs, provided wife remains unmarried etc. to be divided between: the children of wife's brother, George Hill; the children of wife's brother, Benjamin Hill; the children of wife's brother, James Hill.
