DescriptionDSCAM/3/174/1: Probate (5 Mar. 1828) of the will (dated 21 Sept. 1827) of Richard Green of the parish of Bobbington, Staffs., farmer; household goods, livestock and implements of husbandry, to nephew Richard Green, son of late brother, Robert Green; rest of personal estate upon trust for sale; income from £200 to sister-in-law, Elizabeth Green, widow of Robert, for life, then capital to her son William; income from £200 to great nephew Richard (son of John Green Butcher), then to transfer capital to Richard's surviving brothers and sisters; income from £200 to sister, Betty Holt, for life, then capital to her daughters equally; income from £300 to sister, Ann Gill, for life, then capital to her children except Jane Gill equally; £150 each to children of brother Robert Green (Thomas Green, Henry Green, Elizabeth, wife of John Gill, Mary Bickerton Green and Sarah Green); £200 to niece Jane Gill, who resides with him; the interest on £400 due on mortgage from sister-in-law, Hannah Green, widow and late brother, Thomas Bickerton Green, to be distributed by Hannah amongst her children equally, and after her death the capital to be divided amongst her children; £20 each to executors; residue to children of sisters Betty Holt and Ann Gill (except Jane Gill) equally; executors, Thomas Green (nephew), Richard Green (nephew) and John Gill of Kidderminster, Worcs., butcher.
