Tools and stock to son, William; household effects up to £30 in value to the use of wife during widowhood; wife to occupy house in Bridge Road, Toll End during widowhood; subject thereto, all real estate upon trust for sale and from the proceeds an allowance of 25/- a week paid to wife during widowhood, she maintaining their daughte Eliza, a cripple; otherwise all real estate and residuary personal estate to 7 younger children (Elizabeth, wife of John Lambert, Sarah, wife of Nehemiah Clarke, John, Thomas, Charlotte, Amelia and Eliza) in equal shares etc.
Executors: John Lambert of Toll End, victualler (son-in-law), John Chambers of Blackheath, Rowley Regis, grocer and Joseph White of Rowley Regis, agent.
Codicil (dated 20 Mar. 1886); funeral expenses to be defrayed from funds for that purpose provided by the Club to which he belongs; should Eliza die or marry during widowhood of wife, wife's allowance reduced to 15/- a week, ceasing on cohabitation as well as remarriage. |
