DescriptionDSCAM/3/151/1: Copy of the will (dated 12 Jan. 1876) of Job Flavell of Earl Street, Kingswinford, Staffs., labourer; personal estate to wife, Ann; real estate to wife during widowhood, then, charged with £80 to wife, devises the dwellinghouse he occupies to the use of his niece, Rebecca Hickman, wife of Richard Hickman of Lower Gornal, labourer and her heirs, with power of appointment; 3 dwellinghouses at California in the parish of Kingswinford, Staffs., to the use of his sister, Martha Hodgetts, wife of William Hodgetts of California, collier, and her heirs etc.; 2 dwellinghouses at California to brother, Isaac Flavell of Lower Gornal, labourer; 2 dwellinghouses at Green Lane, Portway, parish of Kingswinford, to brother, George Flavell; dwellinghouse at Lower Gornal to nephew, Enock Duckett; residue to Isaac Flavell and William Hodgetts and their heirs as tenants in common; appoints them executors.
DSCAM/3/151/2: Grant (10 Apr. 1879) by Ann Flavell, and Isaac Flavell and William Hodgetts, to Enoch Duckett of Barr Street, Lower Gornal, of her life interest in a messuage at Lower Gornal occupied by John Duckett, and covenant to effect a surrender in the court of the Manor of Sedgley etc.; consideration £15; recites that she had agreed to sell her life estate to Flavell and Hodgetts, who have agreed to sell on this part to Duckett.
DSCAM/3/151/3: Surrender by Samuel Flavell of Lower Gornal, parish of Sedgley, Staffs., labourer, to Job Flavell of the same, labourer, of a messuage and small parcel of land at Lower Gornal, for a consideration of £40; and admittance of Job.
