Description | DSCAM/3/117/1: Probate (7 Apr. 1853) of the will (dated 9 Apr. 1850) of Benjamin Davis of the Knowle, parish of Rowley Regis, Staffs., farmer; household effects, farming stock, implements of husbandry and a messuage and 5.5 acres of land at the Knowle, to wife during widowhood; and 3 dwellinghouses, nail shops etc. at Brickhouse Green, parish of Rowley Regis to wife for life; thereafter, personal estate to be divided equally amongst 4 children - Ann Bridge, William Davis, James Davis and Elizabeth Green; 3 properties at Brickhouse Green divided, one each to Ann, William and James; property at the Knowle to be sold and proceeds divided equally between 4 children but with £70 to be raised from that property for daughter Elizabeth Green; executors, Joseph Bridge and Sarah Davis (wife). |

DSCAM/3/117/3-4: Agreement (25 Mar. 1864) between Sarah Davis et al., the representatives of Benjamin Davis (who was executor of Mary Stephens, under whose will Ann Bridge, formerly Ann Davis, wife of Joseph Bridge, was a legatee), and the executors of the late Joseph Bridge (William Bridge of Rounds Green, Oldbury, farmer and William Woodall of Springfield, Rowley Regis, boilermaker) settling accounts between them and accepting £20 as the net balance due from the Bridge estate to the Davis estate; with copy of related correspondence between Messrs Bourne and Owen and Messrs Coldicott and Canning, Jan. 1864. |
