DSCAM/2/9/2/5: Lease (30 Mar. 1779) by Elizabeth Hughes of Dudley, widow (of Benjamin) to William Hughes of Dudley, baker, of 2 messuages as specified in Queen Street, for a term of 60 years determining on her death, at a rent of £20 p.a.
DSCAM/2/9/2/6: Attested copy of post-nuptial settlement of William and Ann Hughes, being a lease and release (dated 20 Dec. 1782) by William Hughes of Dudley, baker, to William Edwards of Colemore Street, London, jeweller, of 3 newly erected messuages adjoining the Birmingham to Great Bridge and Toll End road in the parish of Tipton, Staffs., and the Well Close, Dudley (subject in this case to the life interest of William's mother, Elizabeth), to the use of William for life, then to Ann for life, thence to their issue as tenants in common, an in default of issue, to such uses as Ann shall appoint.
