DSCAM/2/7/4/2: Lease and release (9-10 Nov. 1811) by John Stokes and Solomon Grosvenor, Thomas Brown of the parish of Shareshill, Staffs., farmer, Joseph Brown of Great Wyrley, parish of Cannock, Staffs., yeoman, William Brown of the same parish, miller, William Altree of Shiffnall, Salop, baker and Mary his wife, and Charles Messenger of Great Wyrley, farmer and Elizabeth his wife, to John Brown of Alveley, Salop, farmer, of John's partitioned share of the real estate of Joseph Brown, his late father, pursuant to will #1, of lands specified at Great Wyrley (part purchased by Joseph Brown under an order in Sharpe v Kempson in Chancery), and declaration of the uses of a Fine levied in Trinity Term 1811 by the parties hereto, insofar as it relates to the aforementioned properties, to John Brown; and covenant to surrender copyholds (5a. 3r. 28p. of land called Far Leasow and Near Leasow) of the Manor of Great Wyrley, and covenant by the other parties to stand seised of the same upon trust for John until such surrender be made; covenants for the production of title deeds by Joseph Brown and by Charles and Elizabeth Messenger.
DSCAM/2/7/4/3-4: Lease and release (13-14 Nov. 1811) by way of mortgage by John Brown to George Parker of Dudley, Worcs., iron master, of messuages and lands as specified (acreages and tenants given) at Cheslyn Hay alias Cheslyn Common and Great Wyrley, Staffs., reserving minerals as specified, and covenant to surrender copyholds of the Manor of Great Wyrley (cottage etc. called Courts Croft or Cow Croft, and 5a. 3r. 28p. of land called Far Leasow and Near Leasow), to secure £1000 and interest. And mortgage bond to secure £1000 of even date.
DSCAM/2/7/4/5-6: Lease and release (11-12 Apr. 1817) being a reconveyance by Abraham Parker of Oldbury, Salop, ironmaster and Levi Parker of Newcastle under Lyme, Staffs., ironmaster (surviving executors of George Parker of Dudley, ironmaster), and Hannah Bagley of Dudley, widow and Joseph Gill of Birmingham, Warwickshire, miller and Esther his wife (daughters and coheiresses of Richard Parker of Dudley, ironmaster), to John Brown, of the premises upon repayment of the £1000 mortgage debt; covenant to levy a Fine. And subsequent Fine (Easter Term 57 George III).
