DescriptionBetween Edward Turvey of the parish of Tipton alias Tibbington, Staffs., collier and ale seller and John Wright of Oldbury, parish of Halesowen, Salop, gentleman, pursuant to an agreement (recited) of 20 Mar. 1780 for the lease by Robert Hancock of Tividale, parish of Tipton alias Tibbington, Staffs., gentleman, to Turvey of 3 pieces of land below the Birmingham Canal and adjoining the Dudley-Westbromwich-Birmingham turnpike (7a. 2r. 2p.) for 10 years at a rent of £11 5/- p.a.; Turvey to pay the cost of the house and premises which Hancock covenants to erect near the canal bridge, with interest at 7%; Hancock to convey the dwellinghouse etc. to Turvey; Turvey owes Hancock and Wright £50 and in consideration of Wright paying off all that Turvey might owe to Hancock, he assigns to Wright all his interest in the 10 year term in the lands and premises, and all right to receive a conveyance from Hancock.
