DSCAM/2/2/2/32: Agreement (25 June 1852) between Sir Stephen Richard Glynne and Samuel Holden Blackwell of Dudley, Worcs., ironmaster and George Bennet of Wombourne, Staffs., coalmaster, to let the 2 Oak Farm blast furnaces, with related engine houses, offices and premises, and part of the casting house, machinery, pland and fixture, use of tramroads, wharf on the Stourbridge Extension Canal etc., for a term of 2 years, thence year to year, at a rent of £400 p.a.; covenants to take coal and sand from Glynne; will consume ironstone now in stock before making fresh purchases; blast furnaces to be taken down and rebuilt and other specified improvements to be made; detailed plan endorsed; various schedules of equipment - engine house, blast furnaces, bridge house, furnace bank; schedule of sliding scale prices to be paid by tenants for ironstone, coal, slack coal etc. (in tons of 2520lb) related to price obtained for pig iron by them. |

DSCAM/2/2/2/34: Release and quit claim (29 Sept. 1854) from Blackwell and Bennet to Glynne in respect of money due for improvements under #32 [payable because Glynne has determined the tenancy but remitted because he has granted lease #33 in lieu]. |
