Mortgage (19 May 1719) by demise of 500 years by Sylvanus Watson to Frances Watson of Evesham, spinster (his sister), of a capital messuage and lands at Bengeworth, to secure £400 and interest. Endorsed memorandum that the money was given by Frances the mother to Frances the daughter as her fortune, and that the interest is payable to the mother until the marriage of the daughter etc.
DSCAM/2/10/3: Mortgage (2 November 1721) by demise of 1000 years by Silvanus Watson of Bengworth, borough of Evesham, Worcs., gentleman (son and heir of Silvanus Watson, the nephew and heir of Thomas Watson of Bengworth, gentleman, deceased), to George Gardner of Evesham, Esq.; assignment by Frances Watson of Bengworth, widow and Frances Watson, spinster (widow and daughter of the elder Silvanus) of the terms of 500 years; release of the premises by Frances Watson the aunt (sister to Thomas Watson), in respect of her £700 legacy under her brother's will (long paid); to secure £750 and interest; consideration of £255 to mother, £400 to daughter and £95 to Silvanus; recites previous deeds including #1-2 above.
Attached further charges by Silvanus Watson to Gardner for £50, on 3 Nov. 1727, 7 May 1728, and 21 Oct. 1729; and for £100 on 11 Mar. 1729/30 and 15 Feb. 1730/1.
DSCAM/2/10/4: Mortgage (18 Aug. 1731) by demise of 500 years by Silvanus Watson of Bengworth, Worcs., gentleman, to Anna Gardner of Eveshan, spinster, of a messuage and lands at Bengworth, to secure an additional £100 (above the £1000 already due).
DSCAM/2/10/5-9: Bargain and Sale (7 May 1735) by Sylvanus Watson of Bengworth, Borough of Evesham, Worcs., gentleman (son and heir of Sylvanus Watson, the nephew and heir of Thomas Watson of Bengworth, gentleman, deceased) and Anna his wife, to Benjamin Seward of Badsey, Worcs., gentleman, of a capital messuage and appurtenances, Home Close (8 acres) on the east of the road by the River Avon, Commons Close (2 acres), planted with cherry trees, and another small parcel planted with cherry trees, and various yard lands specified (tenants given) in Bengworth; consideration of £1750; covenant to levy a Fine. Inrolled in Chancery, 9 June 1735.
Lease and release (6-7 May 1735) by same and Anna Gardner of Evesham, Worcs., spinster and Edward Bulstrode of the parish of St Mary, Islington, Middlesex, Esq (executors of George Gardner of Evesham, Esq., deceased), to same, of same; consideration of £483 13/- to Watson and £1267 13/- to Gardner etc. [i.e. £1750 as in previous deed].
Assignment (7 May 1735) by Gardner, with the consent of Sylvanus Watson, to Henry Seward of Badsey, gentleman, of the term of 500 years created by #4, in trust for Benjamin Seward, and otherwise upon trust to attend the freehold; consideration of £121 2/-; recites that Watson had paid off the other £1000 due to Gardner on mortgage.
Assignment (7 May 1735) by Gardner and Bulstrode, with the consent of Sylvanus Watson, to Henry Seward, of the several terms of 500 years created by #1-3, in trust for Benjamin Seward etc.; consideration of £1145 5/-; recites previous deeds #1-3 and others.
Final Concord (Easter Term 8 George II) between Benjamin Seward (Plaintiff) and Silvanus Watson and Anna his wife (Deforciants).
DSCAM/2/10/10-11: Deed to lead the uses of a Fine (20 Aug. 1754), by William Snooke of Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire, gentleman and Frances his wife (nee Seward, one of two children of Benjamin Seward, formerly of the parish of St Giles in the Fields, Middlesex, afterwards of Bengworth, by Eleanor his first wife, nee Knapp, deceased, and a coheir), and Richard Hall of the parish of St Saviour Southwark, Surrey, hosier and Eleanor his wife (the other child and coheir of Benjamin Seward), to John Crouch of the parish of St George Southwark, Surrey, grocer, of he premises at Bengworth (described in detail), as to one moiety to the use of William Snooke and the other to Richard Hall. And Final Concord (Trinity Term 28 George II) between John Crouch (Plaintiff) and William Snooke et al. (Deforciants).
DSCAM/2/10/12: Lease and release (30-31 Oct. 1754) by Snooke and wife and Hall and wife (the ladies now also described as nieces and coheirs of George Knapp of the Middle Temple, London, Esq. deceased, who was surviving trustee of a deed of 2 June 1733) to Jonathan Bond of the parish of Christ Church, Surrey, button maker, to effect a partition of the estate, comprising a messuage called Ordways or Ordway's House, with related and other parcels of land dispersed through the Bengworth fields (agreed value of £1795), and the capital messuage at Bengworth, with Home Close and related lands (agreed value of £2678); the first to the use of Snooke for life, then to Frances, if she survives him, for life, then to the use of the survivor's heirs, and the second to the use of Richard Hall for life, then to Eleanor for life, thence to their issue in such manner as they shall jointly appoint or the survivor shall appoint, and in default to the use of their issue equally as tenants in common and the heirs of their bodies, with ultimate remainder to the heirs of the survivor of Richard and Eleanor , etc.; consideration of £441 10/- by Hall to Snooke for equalisation.

DSCAM/2/10/14: Final Concord (Trinity Term 48 George III) between William Fisher (Plaintiff) and Francis Hall, Henry Griffith and Martha his wife, and Joshua Smith and Elizabeth his wife (Deforciants), of premises in Bengworth in the Borough of Evesham and in the parish of St Peter Bengworth.
