DSCAM/2/1/8/3: Bargain and sale and enfeoffment (18 Aug. 1791) by Hannah Woodall of Dudley, widow (of Joshua Woodall), to William Shaw of the same, woodscrew forger and Catherine his wife, and Joseph Weaver of the same, nailer (trustee to uses), of a messuage and the site of a nail shop now used as a pigsty, in Hall Street, Dudley, to the use of Hannah for life, thence to the Shaws for life, with power of appointment, and otherwise to their issue etc.; consideration of £17; livery of seisin endorsed.
DSCAM/2/1/8/4-6: Bargain and sale and enfeoffment (10 May 1795) by Mrs Woodall and Shaw and wife, to Edward Davies of Dudley, nail ironmonger, of the above premises; covenant to levy a Fine; consideration of £21; livery of seisin endorsed. Annotated in pencil: 'Taken down and two new houses erected...' Receipt for 1 guinea [21/-] deposit on the purchase money; 29 Oct. 1794. And Final Concord (Hilary Term 1795) between Thomas Wright (Plaintiff) and William Shaw and Catherine his wife and Joseph Hanson and Martha his wife (Deforciants) [presumed to be Fine covenanted for in, but in fact levied before execution of the conveyance].
