DSCAM/2/1/5/10: Bargain and sale and enfeoffment (20 Mar. 1798) by Blackham and Parkes to John Kettle of Dudley, dealer in horses and James Bourne of Dudley, gentleman (his trustee to uses), of the parcel of land (above), in the possession of Kettle, and a share in the Eve Hill Building Society; consideration of £82 18/-; livery of seisin endorsed.
DSCAM/2/1/5/11: Lease and release and confirmation (3-4 Sept. 1800) by Francis Barber of Broseley, Salop, butcher and John Kettle now or late of Dudley, butcher, to James Bourne and Isaac Badger of Dudley, builder (his trustee to uses), of the parcel of land with stables and other erections, and the messuage adjoining it, to the use of Bourne, with power of appointment, as specified; consideration of £80 11/- paid by Bourne to the Treasurer of the Building Society for arrears and expences due to the Society and £71 9/-, after deducting Kettle's debt to Bourne for business done, to be divided equally between Kettle and Barber; recites conveyance by Kettle to Barber of a messuage at Caddicks End or bottom of Snow Hill in 1798, allotted in respect of a share in the Eve Hill Building Society on which Barner has failed to maintain the subscription, and the subsequent sale of the premises by the Building Society's trustee to Bourne.
