DSCAM/2/1/4/3-6: Lease and release (24-25 Sept. 1730) by Holmer, late of Dudley, maltster and Susanna his wife, to Richard Woolley of London, merchant, of the Eve Hill property; subject to an elegit executed in respect of a bond dated 18 Feb. 1728 from Jonathan Holmer to Thomas Oliver of Dudley, Clerk, for £150, on which £167 1s 4d was due (inc. interest and costs); covenant to levy a Fine; consideration of £32 18/-. Assignment (25 Sept. 1730) by Harper and Baylies, at the direction of Susanna Holmer, to Sir Edward Hill of Wanborough, Wiltshire, knight, of the term of 99 years, in so far as it relates to the Eve Hill premises, in trust for Woolley, and otherwise upon trust to attend the freehold. 2 parts of a Final Concord (Michaelmas Term, 4 George II = 1730) between Woolley (Plaintiff) and Holmer and wife (Deforciants).
DSCAM/2/1/4/7-8: Bargain and sale and enfeoffment (1 Feb. 1760) by Richard Woolley of Symonds Inn, Chancery Lane, London, gentleman (only son and heir of Richard Woolley of London, merchant, deceased), to James Shaw of Dudley, gentleman, of the Eve Hill property; covenant to levy a Fine; livery of seisin endorsed. And Final Concord (Hilary Term, 33 George II/1 George III = 1760) between James Shaw (Plaintiff) and Richard Woolley (Deforciant).
DSCAM/2/1/4/9: Lease (1 Feb. 1760) by same to same of 2 messuages and 2 closes in Eve Hill, for a term of 6 years from 25 Dec. 1759, at a rent of £7 p.a.
DSCAM/2/1/4/10-11: Lease and release (20-21 Dec. 1765) by Woolley, now of Gray's Inn, London, gentleman, to Shaw, of the Eve Hill property, adjoining Russell's Hall Farm and the Dudley-Wolverhampton highway; consideration of £200. Bond of indemnity from same to same (20 Dec. 1765) in £400, esp. with regard to the elegit [see #3 above].
DSCAM/2/1/4/12: Lease and release (9-10 Dec. 1777) by Sarah Shaw, late of Dudley, now of Wolverhampton, Staffs., widow (executrix and sole devisee of James Shaw), and by James Hayward Shaw of Dudley, gentleman (only son and heir of James Shaw deceased by Sarah his wife) and Sarah Shaw the younger of Wolverhampton, spinster (a daughter of James Shaw deceased by Sarah his wife) , to the Revd Thomas Shaw of Wolverhampton, Clerk and Mary his wife (daughter of James Shaw deceased by Sarah his wife) and Joseph Bourne of Dudley, merchant (his trustee to uses), of the 2 closes of land at Eve Hill (4 acres), to the use of Thomas Shaw, with power of appointment, as specified.; consideration of £300 to Sarah the elder.
DSCAM/2/1/4/13: Lease and release (11-12 Nov. 1784) by William Finch of the Heath Forge, parish of Womborne, Staffs., ironmaster (devisee in trust of Josiah Hunt of Dudley, surviving trustee of a deed for sale) and the Revd Thomas Shaw, to William Hughes of Dudley, baker, of the 2 closes of land at Eve Hill, as specified; consideration of £220; recites previous deeds.
DSCAM/2/1/4/14-15: Deed (9 July 1791) between Henry Hurst of Dudley, lime bailiff, William Hughes and Ann his wife, and Isaac Badger of Dudley, bricklayer, to lead the uses of a Fine, to Hughes of the premises at Foxholes, now divided by the Dudley-Himley turnpike, less 764sq. yds of the above premises, conveyed to Badger for £61 13/- by deed of even date. And Final Concord (Trinity Term, 31 George III = 1791) between Badger (Plaintiff) and Hughes and wife (Deforciants).
