DSCAM/2/1/2/4: Copy receipt of Henry Smyth of Mylton, shoemaker, for £10 from Jones as part payment for the clear purchase of the Dudley property; dated 3 Mar. 1554/5.
DSCAM/2/1/2/5: Copy bond (dated 20 June 1555) from Smyth of Middleton alias Milton, Kent, shoemaker, to Jones in £20, to deliver up deeds to the Dudley property, currently with Margery Grove, wife of Robert Grove and late wife of Thomas Pattingham of Dudley, tanner.

DSCAM/2/1/2/7: Articles of agreement (21 Sept. 1681) between Richard Parks the younger of the parish of Dudley, yeoman, and William Hart the elder of Wolverly, Worcs., locksmith and William Parks of Tetnall, parish of Rowley Regis, Staffs., yeoman (brother of Richard); Richard to marry Elizabeth, daughter of William Hart; to purchase within 7 years a house of £10 clear annual value, to be settled on Richard and Elizabeth and the heirs of their body, with remainder to the heirs of Richard; provision should Richard die before purchase for it to be carried through or £10 a year paid to Elizabeth in lieu; Hart and William Hart the younger to give a bond to secure £100 as the marriage portion of Elizabeth.

DSCAM/2/1/2/13-15: Pre-nuptial settlement (26 Apr. 1709) of Daniell Parkes (son and heir of Richard and Elizabeth) and Sarah Hussey (sister of Peter); release [lease wanting] by Richard Parkes of Dudley, Worcs., yeoman and Elizabeth his wife and Daniell their son, to William Hart of Kingsfort, parish of Wolverley, Worcs., yeoman, Peter Hussey of the same parish, pan maker, of Bendys Meadow, now divided into three and known as the Barne Close, the Gate Close and the Further Close, in the foreign and parish of Dudley (abuttals given), to secure a rentcharge of 40/- p.a. to Daniel and Sarah and their heirs during the lives of Richard and Elizabeth, and subject thereto, to the use of Richard for life, then of Elizabeth for life, thence to Daniel and his heirs, but subject to a term of 500 years to raise £100 to be payable to such uses as Richard shall have appointed, and otherwise payable to the younger children of Richard and Elizabeth. And bond from Daniel and Richard Parkes to William Hart in £280 to expend £140 within 6 months of the death of Richard and wife on freehold premises of the annual value of £7, to be settled on Daniel for life, then on Sarah, thence to their isue, with remainder to the right heirs of Daniel.
DSCAM/2/1/2/16: Bond of indemnity (23 Apr. 1720) from Richard Parkes the elder of Dudley to Daniel Parkes, in respect of £80 advanced by Oliver Dixon the younger of Dudley, gentleman to Richard and secured by the joint bond of Richard and Daniel.

DSCAM/2/1/2/18-19: Articles of agreement (24 Oct. 1766) between Mary Parkes, widow, John Spurrier, Baker and Eleanor his wife and Mary Parkes, spinster, all of Walsall, Staffs., and Adam Read Shaw of Dudley, surgeon and apothecary and Edward Perrins of the Parish of Tipton, Staffs., engineer, for the sale of coal under Bendeys Meadow and under buildings erected on a part thereof (7a. 3r. 3p.), for a consideration of £1709 2s 6d (£220 per acre). Endorsed as never carrie into effect.

And 2 parts of Final Concord (Easter Term 25 George III = 1785) between John Fallows (Plaintiff) and John Spurrier the younger and Anna Maria his wife (Deforciants).
DSCAM/2/1/2/24: Mortgage (4 July 1798) by demise of 1000 years by Fallows, to Ellin Barber of Westbromwich, Staffs., widow, Jacob Smith of Walsall, Staffs., Esq. and William Wakefield of Minworth, Warwickshire, gentleman (executors of Joseph Barber of Walssall, factor, deceased), of the above premises and a moiety of 13 messuages at the upper end of Hall Lane, Walsall, and a fourth part of a messuage and shop in Hall Lane, Walsall, to secure £300 and interest.
