DSCAM/2/1/15/7: Deed of partition (22 Nov. 1797) between Charlotte Jewkes of Cawney Hill, parish of Dudley, widow, John Smith of the same and Mary his wife, auger maker (daughters and surviving devisees of Luke Hollis by Sarah nee Henley; grand-daughters and devisees of Joseph Hollis; coheirs of Sarah Hollis; sisters and coheirs of Benjamin Hollis), of 4 messuages in Mamble Square, 2 in Bannisters Lane and another in Mamble Square, to which they are entitled under the various wills and coheirships; each lady to have 2 messuages in Mamble Square and 1 in Bannisters Lane, one in Mamble Square to be held in moieties, Jewkes also to have a small parcel of land held with one of the Mable properties; covenant to levy a Fine of the premises to Edward Hancox of Dudley, banker, to the uses contained in this deed.

DSCAM/2/1/15/9: Bargain and sale and enfeoffment (24 July 1802) by James Bourne of Dudley, gentleman and Luke Jewkes of Cawney Hill, whitesmith (only son and heir-at-law of Charlotte Jewkes), to Samuel Hollis of Dudley, victualler and William Gardner of Dudley, cordwainer (his trustee to uses), of a messuage in Mamble Square, to the use of Samuel Hollis, with power of appointment, as specified; and assignment by Richard Edwards of the parish of Tipton, yeoman and William Niklin of the same, maltster and victualler (executors of Nancy Johnson), to William Royle of Dudley, maltster, of the mortgage term of 1000 years in the premises as in #8, in trust for Samuel Hollis (as to the first messuage) and in trust for James Bourne (as to the rest), each with power of appointment etc., and otherwise upon trust to attend the respective freeholds; consideration of £53 13/- by Hollis to Edwards and Nicklin to pay off the mortgage, and £16 7/- to Bourne (to whom Charlotte Jewkes conveyed the premises to secure her debts to him); recites previous deeds; livery of seisin endorsed.
