Description | Copy dated 16th June 1859. Notice 'To all whom these presents shall come', from: John Taft, Innkeeper; Carmi Rollason, Iron Merchant; and Simeon Stanley, Yeoman, all of Sedgley Parish. These were the Executors of the Will of Joseph Dicken who died on 25th February 1851. Giving notice that: Joseph Dicken, late of Sedgley Parish, Innkeeper, made his Will on 28th September 1849, in which he bequeathed to his Wife, Phebe, all his stock in trade as an Innkeeper and Huckster; household furniture, etc.; brewing utensils etc. He bequeathed to his friends and Executors all his brickyards, stock in trade of a brickmaker; horses; carts; tools; etc. He also gave upon Trust, to his friends and Executors, his messuages, lands and hereditaments at Deepfields, Coseley. The friends and executors wish to disclaim all right to the bequests in the Will of Joseph Dicken. |
