Description | In 1926, Cannon Iron Foundries Ltd. celebrated their first centenary, and the company gave the workforce a trip to Blackpool and a celebration dinner, on Saturday 18th September 1926. Two trains conveyed 850 members of the workforce to Blackpool, where they spent the day. The company dinner was served in the Indian Lounge at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.
