| Description | In 1976, Cannon celebrated its 150th anniversary. They had been at the same site at Deepfields since their formation in 1826. As part of the 150th anniversary celebrations, Cannon presented each of their workforce, and over 100 retired employees with a miniature silver plated replica cannon as a souvenir. The file of records of the 150th Anniversary of Cannon in 1976 contains:
