Description | Letters from various correspondents, including B. Whitehouse Esq., Priorfields Furnaces, and the London & North Western Railway. Letters re: foundations of a bridge at Havacre, under the Railway. Whitehouse had granted the right of way over this bridge to Cannon. The foundations were under water, and Whitehouse were concerned that an accident could be caused, according to a letter dated 28th September 1887, which states: 'We also think you should block the bridge up to prevent trespass'. The London and North Western Railway Company, in a letter dated 3rd February 1888, dispute Cannon's ownership of the bridge. |
