| Description | Stanley Higginson made up one half of the Higginson twins along with his brother Bernard. Stanley and Bernard joined the Halesowen Athletics and Cycling Club in 1951 and in 1954 started competing in tandem races together. Stanley was the 25 mile national champion in 1954 and retired from competitive cycling in 1955. Stanley served in the Royal Air Force and passed away in 2014. |
