Correspondence between The Earl of Dudley's Round Oak Works Ltd. and Mr John Parker, who rented land at Level Street from the Company. Mr Parker did not keep up with his rent payments, and the correspondence shows that he was given formal notice to quit the land on 28th December 1937. However, he appears to have retained the tenancy, until his death on 21st November 1952. His widow wished to retain the lease of the land, but was refused. |
