2. The Mayor, Aldermen and Burgesses of the County Borough of Dudley, Worcester (the Corporation).
Refers to part of the Pensnett Canal which was sold by #1 to #2 for the sum of £1,250. Includes plans of the section of canal referred to; correspondence; a newspaper cutting about two children who fell into the canal and contracted paratyphoid due to pollution by sewerage in January 1958; and a newspaper cutting about the proposed closure of the Dudley Canal in December 1961.
