No.1 Shewing the Tower standing isolated at the North Western angle of the Church and with the Spire 180 feet high... No.2 Shewing the Tower centrally situated at the West end of the Nave and with the Spire 190 feet high... No.3 Shewing the Tower in the place of a North Porch and identical in size and design with No.1...' Designed and drawn by Lewis Stride, Architect, 6 Bloomsbury Square, September 1854. Consists of pen and ink sketch and a pen, ink and watercolour ground floor plan of each proposed design. Includes letter to Lord Ward from Lewis Stride, 6 Bloomsbury Square, suggesting rebuilding of church due to unstable foundations; the desirability of a larger tower; sketches of proposals; estimates of cost; sinking shafts; altering footpaths; and mining damages [16 Sep 1854].
